A quick reference for common issues and how to fix them.
Microphone Issues
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Browser asks for mic permission but I accidentally blocked it | See Microphone Setup for browser-specific steps to re-enable access |
| No microphone devices appear in the selector | Check your OS sound settings and make sure a mic is connected and enabled |
| Mic is listed but the AI doesn't hear me | Select the correct device; check system input volume; speak closer to the mic |
| Echo or feedback | Use headphones to prevent the AI's audio from looping back into your mic |
Queue Issues
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Lost my queue position | The tab must stay open. Close = lose your place. Click Start Call to rejoin. |
| Queue position doesn't update | Wait a few seconds — it refreshes automatically. If stuck, refresh the page and rejoin. |
| Stuck at "connecting" after queue | Refresh the page and try again. May indicate a temporary server issue. |
Call Issues
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Call ended immediately without a recommendation | A timeout may have occurred. Rejoin and try again. |
| AI response cuts off mid-sentence | May be a network blip. Ask the AI to continue, or end and start a new call. |
| AI misheard me | Speak more clearly or in a quieter environment. The transcript shows what was heard. |
| Timer ran out before I got a response | Each session is 2 minutes max. Try to keep your initial question concise. |
Browser Issues
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| App not loading | Check your internet connection. Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R). |
| Works in Chrome but not another browser | Chrome and Edge have the best compatibility. Try switching browsers. |
| Page looks broken or unstyled | Hard-refresh the page to clear stale cached assets. |
